They have two big clay pots – one containing Spiced Buttermilk and the other one containing Ragi Buttermilk. These pots are covered with cotton cloth which is always soaked in water. This keeps the content cold even at high outer temperatures. Both the Buttermilk and Ragi Buttermilk are mildly spiced and have a good amount of coriander leaves and curry leaves. Fresh cut onion pieces are added to these when served to customers.

To the customers these are served in decent sized steel glasses (tumbler of sorts) and one glass is humbly priced at 15 Rs.

It doesnt end here, there are few free offerings along with these thirst quenchers – fried dry chillies, spiced mango pieces and gongura pickle, and all these for free. There are newspaper pieces placed in a container and customers are free to help themselves with these freebies. What a big heart these people have.
