Brew and Barbeque – A Microbrewery Pub

WHAT THEHEEBEE SAYS ABOUT EXPERIENCE AT BREW AND BARBEQUE:
Brew and Barbeque

Visited Brew and Barbeque recently with my office colleagues. The occasion was to celebrate a colleague’s promotion.

Booking Experience: Booking was fairly easy on call. We called in the afternoon and booked a table for 5 people at 6 PM. Good response on call and booking was done without any hassle.

Location: Brew and Barbeque is located on the 4th floor of a popular mall, it is very easy to reach and parking is not a problem.

Ambiance: Brew and Barbeque has a huge premise I would say, and there are various different kind of seating options. You can opt for appropriate seating option based on your group size and occasion.

There is a non-smoking Air conditioned area and an on-AC smoking area. Overall the ambiance is dark and apt for a pub. Loved the dim lighting that set the right mood.

The music was very random and they could have played a better playlist. Music was not matching the mood.

They had 5 craft beers on tap, which is really wonderful. Loved to know that they had a good range from Hefeweizen to Belgian Ale.
* Weizenbier (Hefeweizen) was very refreshing to start with. It had the apt temperature and notes.
* Raging Kind IPA our favorite among the craft beer offerings. Loaded with flavors, aroma and a lot of feelings.
* Bellandur Blonde (Golden Ale) was another good offering with apt crispness and mild bitterness.
* After Dark (Stout) was the only disappointing beer here. It lacked the charm of being a stout. Good in the beginning, but by the time the glass was half, it started tasking like old wine. Our bad luck was that we had it as our last glass of beer and lost the fun of three fantastic beers that we had before it.
We checked for the brew-master but it was surprising that brew-master was not available at the time when the brewery is running a full house on Friday evening. Stout really needs a
revamp.

Food stole our heart. Each and every dish was a pleasure on taste. Our favorite was “Kukkad Murg“. It was a ‘never before’ experience. We also loved the Gunpowder Eggs.

Dynabite prawn was a real surprise with the size of prawns and the burst of spices. Desi Makhani Pizza stole our heart with the crispy thin crust and Indian flavors.

We would also recommend having Mutton samosa here. A perfect Indian biting along with some good beer.

Staff is very well aware of the food and beverages. Staff is very polite and helpful. However, the service was a letdown. They seem to be running short on manpower.
Every single order had to be reminded. We expect a fast service of Beer in a brewery/pub. There is no meaning to keep someone waiting for beer in a pub.

Overall a very good micro-brewery with some good craft beers on the tap. However, improving on music, Stout beer and service can further improve the experience.
