WHAT THEHEEBEE SAYS ABOUT EXPERIENCE AT TANDOORI KORAMANGALA :
— Delayed post alert —
We visited Tandoori Koramangala with friends sometime back during lunch hours. Due to the busy schedule, my review got delayed. Hence I have added the delayed post alert at the beginning of my review.
LOCATION AND AMBIANCE:
Tandoori Koramangala is a small eatery located at the busy Koramangala 5th Block, adjacent to many other popular eateries. Parking is allowed on one side of the lane, but it is very difficult to find a parking spot, hence you might need to park it in adjacent lanes and walk a bit to reach the place.
It is easy to spot the restaurant so you won’t have any issues in navigating to it.
It is a relatively small place with limited seating. But the interiors are very appealing with a lot of woodwork and matching lighting.
WHAT THEHEEBEE HAD:
As the name suggests, its main offering is Tandoori food. It serves some authentic Tandoori food and also has some amazing fusion food which I had never heard about before. There are very good options for both – vegetarians and non-vegetarians. There is a limited beverage menu. Apart from tandoori starters, they also have meal and biryani options to complete the full eating experience.
We had Chicken Kali Mirchi Pita Pockets, Murgh Tangri Masala, Chicken Tikka, Afghani Soya Chaap, Murgh Haryali Quesadilla, and Chicken Biryani. Among all that we ordered I loved the non-vegetarian dishes over vegetarian dishes. Chicken Kali Mirch Pita Pockets and Murgh Haryali Quesadilla were my favorites followed by Chicken Biryani. Soya Chaap was a good try to create the ‘meaty’ feeling for vegetarians, but I will give it a miss next time and would stick to non-vegetarian offerings.
Service was good and the staff was helpful.
We could not try ourselves on any beverage as the beverage master was on leave.
